Vulnerabilities & Patch Management
GPS spoofing is a cyber attack where false GPS signals are broadcast to deceive a GPS receiver about its actual location or time. Attackers use this technique to mislead navigation systems in vehicles, ships, drones, or even smartphones, potentially causing them to travel off course or make incorrect decisions. Unlike GPS jamming, which blocks signals, spoofing manipulates them, making it harder to detect. This poses significant risks to transportation safety, critical infrastructure, and any system relying on accurate GPS data.
