Taskflow is a repeatable security workflow that breaks research into ordered steps, such as reconnaissance, triage, validation, and reporting. Instead of relying on one-off intuition, a taskflow turns expert methods into a process that can be reused across targets and analysts. In cyber security, that matters because many findings are subtle: a permission check, session boundary, or background behavior may only become obvious when each step is checked in the same order every time.
Taskflows are common in AI-assisted audits and in human-led reviews. An automated agent may use a taskflow to scan an app, test likely weak points, and compare behavior across variants, while a researcher uses the same structure to confirm whether a result is real and exploitable. Defenders also use taskflows to standardize investigations, reduce missed steps, and make findings easier to reproduce. The key benefit is consistency: a good taskflow scales analysis without replacing human judgment.
