Studio continuity

The degree to which a project keeps the same team, process, or creative direction.

Studio continuity is the degree to which a project keeps the same team, workflow, tools, and creative direction over time. In practice, it describes how consistently a studio can carry knowledge, ownership, and production habits from one phase of work to the next.

In cyber security, continuity matters because changing teams without clear handoffs can create security gaps. Missing documentation, reused credentials, unclear approval chains, and inconsistent build practices all make it easier for attackers to exploit mistakes or impersonate trusted collaborators. Good continuity supports defenses such as access control, versioned change management, signed builds, and documented incident response. When continuity is weak, phishing, supply-chain abuse, and unauthorized release changes become more likely because nobody is sure who should approve, review, or block the action.
