The Single Reporting Platform is ENISA’s centralized system for mandatory reporting under the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). It gives manufacturers one place to submit vulnerability and incident notifications, instead of sending separate reports through fragmented channels. In practice, it is the reporting pipeline that links a product-security event to the appropriate EU process and national response structure.
This matters because CRA reporting is time-sensitive and operational, not just administrative. Security teams must be able to detect active exploitation, decide whether an issue is reportable, gather evidence, and file the required information quickly and consistently. The platform helps defenders standardize that workflow, while also creating an auditable record for regulators. In real use, it becomes part of incident response: triage the event, classify it correctly, and route the report through the official channel before deadlines expire.
