Quantum MLOps

Operational practices for managing hybrid quantum and machine learning workflows in production.

Quantum MLOps is the set of operational practices used to build, test, deploy, and monitor hybrid workflows that combine classical machine learning with quantum execution. It extends standard MLOps to cover quantum circuits, compilers, runtimes, queues, and vendor-specific back ends. The goal is to make these pipelines reproducible, portable, and manageable in production.

In cyber security, Quantum MLOps matters because hybrid pipelines add new control points that can be attacked or misconfigured. Adversaries may target code dependencies, experiment artifacts, access tokens, provider APIs, or the handoff between classical and quantum systems. Good Quantum MLOps helps defenders reduce that risk through version control, lineage tracking, least-privilege access, signed artifacts, and audit logs. It also makes it easier to detect tampering, reproduce suspicious results, and move workloads without losing visibility or control.
