Wireless LCD streaming

Transmitting what a screen shows without a wired display connection.

Wireless LCD streaming is the transmission of what a screen shows without using a wired display connection. In practice, a camera, wireless adapter, or custom receiver captures the visible output and forwards it to another device for viewing or recording. It does not change the underlying data or measurement; it only reproduces the display.

In cyber security, this matters because a screen often contains passwords, keys, alerts, logs, or operational details that never leave the device in machine-readable form. Streaming or recording that display can help defenders document evidence, review events later, or monitor equipment remotely. The same technique can also be abused as a low-tech exfiltration path: an attacker who cannot access files may still capture sensitive information shown on a local screen. It is a reminder that if data can be seen, it can often be copied, so visual output should be treated as sensitive and protected like any other data channel.
