Context continuity is an AI design pattern that preserves information across apps, conversations, or sessions so the system can respond with awareness of prior activity. In practice, it may keep summaries, recent prompts, user preferences, or working state available to the assistant, either locally or in the cloud.
In cyber security, that memory can be valuable to attackers if a device is already compromised. An infostealer or other post-exploitation tool may try to read cached history, local databases, or synced records to learn what the user was doing, which accounts were active, or what sensitive material was discussed. Defenders should treat context stores like other high-value artifacts: limit what is retained, know where it is stored, protect access, and prefer designs that minimize readable local data on endpoints.
