Bundle

a combined commercial offer that packages multiple services together.

A bundle is a packaged commercial offer that combines multiple products or services under one price, subscription, or contract. In cyber security, this often appears as a vendor package that includes controls such as endpoint protection, backup, monitoring, and support. Bundling can make procurement easier and reduce management overhead, but it also means buyers must judge each component, not just the discount.

Bundles matter to security because they can hide weak links, unnecessary permissions, or overlapping tools that create blind spots and complexity. Attackers use a similar idea when they bundle malware features, phishing infrastructure, or access services into a single kit to lower the skill needed to launch an attack. Defenders should review what is included, how data flows between components, and whether the package still provides value without the promotional pricing or extra features.
