Specification sheet

A document that lists a device’s operating details and limits.

A specification sheet is a document that lists a device’s key operating details, performance characteristics, and limits. For an LCR meter, it may describe measurable ranges, accuracy, resolution, and the conditions under which those figures apply.

In cyber security and other technical work, specifications help people judge whether a tool is suitable and how much to trust its results. They can reveal constraints that a quick demo may not show, such as supported operating conditions or measurement tolerances. Check the sheet alongside calibration information and practical testing; stated limits are not a guarantee that a device will perform identically in every setup.
