Party master

A record set that tracks legal entities and their relationships.

A party master is a structured record set that identifies legal entities-such as companies, customers, or insurers-and records their relationships to one another. It may include entity names, identifiers, addresses, ownership or signer roles, and links to accounts, policies, or other records.

In cyber security, a party master can be sensitive because it maps how organizations and people are connected, making it useful for fraud, impersonation, and targeted social engineering. In an attack or data exposure, these relationships can reveal more than a list of names alone. Defenders should limit access, protect exports and backups, monitor unusual queries, and verify the authenticity and scope of any claimed leak before drawing conclusions.
