Magento

An e-commerce platform widely used for online stores, where content and extensions can affect what shoppers’ browsers load.

Magento, now also known as Adobe Commerce in its commercial edition, is an e-commerce platform used to build and manage online stores. Storefront pages can include code from themes, extensions, and content managed by the site. That code affects what shoppers’ browsers load and execute.

This makes Magento sites a target for attackers seeking to inject malicious JavaScript, for example through a compromised extension or altered storefront content. Blocking a remote domain may stop some network requests, but it does not remove code already stored on the site. Defenders should inspect templates, CMS content, extensions, and other served assets for unauthorized changes. Content Security Policy can restrict script sources and reduce some risks, but it is not a substitute for removing injected code.
