Camel K

A Kubernetes-based integration platform built on Apache Camel, with its own advisories and versioning.

Camel K is a Kubernetes-based integration platform built on Apache Camel. It helps teams deploy and manage integrations-called integrations or routes-that connect services, APIs, files, and message systems. Because it has its own releases and security advisories, Camel K should be tracked separately from Apache Camel core.

For security teams, this distinction affects vulnerability assessment and patching: fixing Camel core does not necessarily remediate an affected Camel K deployment. Inventory the Camel K version and enabled components, check applicable advisories, and review routes that accept untrusted input or expose endpoints. In real deployments, risk depends on the affected version and configuration, as well as whether an attacker can reach the vulnerable path.
