Artifacts

Shareable AI-generated or user-created outputs that can include documents, apps, or code-like content.

Artifacts are shareable outputs created by an AI assistant or a user. Depending on the platform, they may be documents, small apps, code-like content, or other interactive material. Sharing lets others view or use the output, sometimes through a page hosted on the platform’s own domain.

In cyber security, an Artifact is not automatically trustworthy just because it appears on a legitimate service. Attackers may abuse sharing features to publish deceptive pages, such as fake software-install instructions that persuade visitors to run commands. Treat shared content as user-published material: verify who created it, check installation steps through an independent trusted source, and do not paste commands into a terminal or shell unless you understand what they do.
