AI-generated reports

Security submissions produced with the help of artificial intelligence, which still need human validation.

AI-generated reports are security submissions drafted with the help of artificial intelligence. They may describe a vulnerability, summarize evidence, or format a bug bounty write-up, but they still require human review to confirm that the issue is real, reproducible, and relevant.

In cyber security, these reports matter because intake quality affects triage. A well-formed AI-assisted report can help researchers organize findings faster, but unverified text can also create noise, duplicate entries, or plausible-sounding claims with no proof. Defenders use validation steps such as reproduction checks, proof-of-concept testing, and deduplication to separate actionable findings from machine-generated clutter. Attackers may also use AI to flood disclosure channels or submit low-value reports, turning review capacity into a target. For that reason, AI-generated reports are useful only when paired with human judgment and evidence-backed verification.
