The SFERA model is a five-part performance framework built around Sincronia, punti di Forza, Energia, Ritmo, and Attivazione. In practice, it is a leadership and team-performance lens, not a security control. It helps managers think about how people coordinate, use their strengths, sustain effort, pace work, and switch into action when pressure rises.
In cybersecurity, this matters because many failures come from slow decisions, poor coordination, and overloaded responders rather than from missing tools alone. During an incident, a SFERA-style approach can support clear roles, disciplined escalation, and better team synchronization. It is also useful in tabletop exercises, where leaders rehearse how to maintain rhythm, manage energy during prolonged events, and activate the right people quickly. The model belongs to the human side of cyber defense: it improves execution, but it does not replace logging, backups, segmentation, or tested response plans.
