Session-level control refers to settings and enforcement actions that apply to one active live session rather than to the whole account or service. In a livestream, these controls can limit who may join, pause a broadcast, mute audio, disable video, or end the session entirely.
In cyber security and platform safety, this matters because real-time abuse unfolds quickly. Harmful content, harassment, or unsafe contact can spread before post-upload moderation has time to react. Session-level controls give defenders a way to interrupt abuse while it is happening, reducing the impact of a compromised, misused, or dangerous live room.
