Multicloud parity

Consistent security coverage and policy handling across more than one public cloud.

Multicloud parity means keeping security coverage, policy enforcement, and visibility consistent across more than one public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The goal is not to make every cloud identical, but to ensure the same core controls exist wherever workloads run: identity rules, logging, posture checks, network segmentation, and workload protection.

This matters because attackers often look for the weakest cloud or the least mature control layer. If one provider has stricter policies than another, gaps can appear in misconfiguration detection, access control, or incident response. Defenders use multicloud parity to compare coverage, normalize findings, and apply guardrails that behave predictably across platforms. In practice, parity is a benchmark for whether a security program can see and control risk consistently, rather than only in the cloud it knows best.
