Monoraria is a single-rate electricity tariff: the customer pays the same price for power at all hours of the day. It is simpler than time-of-use pricing, because billing does not depend on peak or off-peak periods.
In cyber security, monoraria matters when energy products are sold and managed through websites, apps, or customer portals. The tariff choice must be displayed correctly in the interface, stored accurately in back-end systems, and reflected in invoices. Attackers or faulty integrations can exploit mismatched plan data, misleading pricing screens, or unauthorized account changes to create billing fraud, customer confusion, or support-channel abuse. Defenders reduce that risk with strong identity checks, change logs, consistent pricing rules, and validation between the contract, portal, and billing engine.
