Mass printing

the large-scale production of many identical copies using a repeatable process.

Mass printing is the large-scale production of many identical copies using a repeatable process. In security work, the term matters because scale changes risk: once an attacker can print thousands of the same flyer, badge, invoice, label, or QR code, a single design can be used to reach many targets at low cost. The same idea also applies to legitimate operations, such as printing access cards, shipping labels, or warning notices in bulk.

In cyber security, mass printing shows up in social engineering and fraud, where identical physical materials help make scams look routine and credible. Defenders use controlled print workflows, variable data printing, batch logs, and anti-counterfeit features such as serial numbers, microtext, and watermarks to make copying harder and tracing easier. Because printed output is often trusted by default, mass printing can turn a small deception into a wide-scale attack—or a strong defensive control when the output is well managed.
