A business subscription is a paid service tier built for company use under one account. It usually bundles features such as user management, billing controls, collaboration tools, payments, and reporting. Instead of buying each function separately, a company subscribes to a single plan and assigns access to employees or teams.
In cyber security, these subscriptions matter because they centralize valuable controls. If an attacker steals an admin login or session token, they may be able to add users, change settings, view sensitive records, or abuse payment and expense tools. Defenders treat business subscriptions like any other high-value SaaS asset: enforce multi-factor authentication, limit admin rights, review account activity, and keep an inventory of paid services. Good governance helps prevent both unauthorized access and misuse from inside the organization.
