RSA signature verification is a cryptographic process used to confirm the authenticity and integrity of a digital message or file. It relies on a pair of cryptographic keys: a private key, used by the sender to generate a digital signature, and a corresponding public key, used by the recipient to verify that signature. When a message is received, the recipient uses the sender’s public key to check the digital signature. If the verification is successful, it proves that the message was indeed signed by the holder of the private key and that it has not been tampered with. RSA signature verification is widely used in secure communications, software distribution, and digital certificates.
