A Mythic Agent is a type of malicious software component used by cybercriminals to remotely control compromised computers. Once installed on a victim's device, it connects back to the attacker's Mythic Command and Control (C2) server, allowing the attacker to execute commands, steal sensitive data, and monitor activities without the user's knowledge. Mythic Agents are part of the Mythic open-source post-exploitation framework, which is commonly used for advanced cyberattacks and penetration testing. Their stealthy nature makes them a significant threat to both individuals and organizations.
