A Global Administrator is a user role in cloud-based platforms, such as Microsoft 365 or Azure, with the highest level of access and control. This role can manage all settings, users, security policies, and resources across the entire organization’s cloud environment. Global Administrators can add or remove users, assign roles, configure security features, and oversee billing and subscriptions. Due to their broad authority, only a few trusted individuals should be assigned this role to minimize security risks.
