FINALDRAFT is a sophisticated remote administration tool (RAT) designed to target both Windows and Linux operating systems. It enables attackers to gain unauthorized control over infected systems, often for espionage or data theft. What sets FINALDRAFT apart is its use of legitimate cloud-based services, such as Google Drive or Dropbox, to covertly communicate with command and control (C2) servers. This technique helps the malware blend in with normal network traffic, making detection and mitigation more challenging for security teams. FINALDRAFT can perform various malicious activities, including file exfiltration, keystroke logging, and remote command execution, posing significant risks to organizations.
