The Cyber Security Act (CSA) is a regulation enacted by the European Union to strengthen cybersecurity across EU member states. It establishes a framework for cybersecurity certification of ICT products, services, and processes to ensure a high and consistent level of security within the digital single market. The CSA also reinforces the mandate of ENISA, the EU Agency for Cybersecurity, giving it a permanent role in supporting member states and EU institutions in responding to cyber threats. By setting unified standards and certification schemes, the CSA aims to increase trust and security in digital products and services throughout the EU.
